Celebrate National Medical Librarians Month! Meet our Informationist, Mary Jo Devereaux

Mary Jo Devereaux, MLS, Clinical Informationist, Northeast Region, provides education, literature review services in support of the Residency programs in the Northeast Region.  As the library liaison with the Nutrition Subcommittee and the GCMC Breast Multidisciplinary Committee, including its quarterly Accreditation Committee meeting, Mary Jo is familiar with the topics presented for discussion.  With this knowledge and by serving as the point of contact, she can present current awareness information or deliver targeted literature searches to the groups faster and more directly.  Mary Jo liaises with the Northeast Nursing Education and Nurse Residency Programs to provide evidence-based literature reviews in support of Magnet and quality improvement initiatives.
