Celebrate National Library Week! Meet our Library Assistant, Jane Colon
With Geisinger Libraries since 2013, Jane Colon has ensured efficient operations to meet your healthcare information needs. Jane manages inter-library loan service for medical staff, creates website content, and provides walk-in reference services. As a member of the library administration team, Jane supports finance and licensing of library subscription content, tracks and reports on library utilization, and handles other critical behind the scenes work.
Need assistance accessing library print and electronic resources either in-person or remotely? Jane has got you covered. Found a faulty link to a library tool? Jane repairs and troubleshoots broken links for the library’s e-resource collection. Beyond her library skills, Jane has a keen understanding of many aspects of the healthcare system. Before her foray into libraries, she tracked data for the Wellness Center and filled patient prescriptions in the pharmacy.
