Tierney Lyons, MLIS, Research Informationist, works with researchers to efficiently access and organize literature for research and writing and to comply with funder data and publication requirements. Currently, Tierney supports the Research Institute’s initiative to track and highlight Geisinger-author publications. When supporting scoping reviews and systematic reviews teams, she develops the methodology, conducts exhaustive literature searches, and supports screening and data extraction.

Whether you are formulating search questions, organizing citations, or publishing  results, Tierney can save you time:

• developing strategies for multiple databases and grey literature.
• selecting where to publish and avoiding predatory journals.
• establishing an author ID using ORCID.
• making your research results more visible.
• identifying impact of your research & article metrics.
