New RefWorks Citation Manager (RCM) Add-In: Update Due by August 31, 2025
An updated version of the RefWorks Citation Manager (RCM) add-in tool is coming to Microsoft Word!
While the current version, RefWorks – RCM, is still available for use, no new features for it are being supported by RefWorks. And, after August 31, 2025, this version will no longer be available. To update your add-in:
1. Remove the current RefWorks – RCM add-in.
2. Update to the new RefWorks Citation Manager add-in available now (click here).
Your document citations added with the old add-in will be automatically included in the new add-in, there is no need for you to update your document or reformat any work already completed.
