UpToDate SSO Login is Now Live in Epic, Coming to Geisinger Health Sciences Library 05/19/2025

Key Points:

• Start logging in directly to UpToDate for streamlined access via Single Sign-On (SSO) at https://www.uptodate.com/login/geisinger.edu
• No more 90-day reverification process for access
• Use the attached handout to connect to your existing UpToDate account with your Geisinger login
• Update your bookmarks to UpToDate with the new direct link

We are pleased to announce you can now log into your UpToDate account using https://www.uptodate.com/login/geisinger.edu.

Connect your existing UpToDate account (including Mobile Access) to your Geisinger login without losing your CME, bookmarks, or account settings by following the instructions in the attached tip sheet.

With this change, you can now authenticate your account from anywhere you use UpToDate with your Geisinger login and no longer need to authenticate onsite/on a Geisinger network every 90 days!

New users can also now register for an account remotely or through the UpToDate mobile app without having to first create an account on the Geisinger network. Simply enter your Geisinger email on the UpToDate login page and enter your credentials when prompted.
